What to Know Before Heading to ATCE

What is the location and address for ATCE?

ATCE 2018 is located at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center at 650 S Griffin St, Dallas, TX 75202.

What does registration include?

Full-conference registration includes admittance to the technical sessions, exhibition, receptions on the exhibition floor, coffee breaks, and one copy of the conference proceedings.

For all other types of registration (spouse, exhibit only options, or one-day registrations), the proceedings may be purchased separately (USD 200 for members, USD 350 for nonmembers). Spouse registration does not include proceedings.

How do I register and book housing for ATCE?

Please note: Experient is the official housing and travel coordinator for ATCE. No other hotel/housing provider is authorized to contact you on behalf of SPE or the conference. We will vigorously pursue these other companies to prevent unauthorized contact.


Are hotels available close to the convention center?

The SPE headquarters hotel is the Omni Dallas Hotel, which is connected to the Convention Center via a sky bridge. SPE has also secured rooms within walking distance to the Convention Center or will have shuttle service available, on show days. Is there transportation available to and from the convention center?

SPE will provide complimentary, round-trip shuttle service between the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center and some of the official conference hotels, from Sunday, 23 September to Wednesday, 26 September. View the travel and accommodations page for shuttle schedule and routes.

Where can I see the schedule and technical program?

ATCE 2018 has a robust technical robust with more than 300 paper presentations and 13 special sessions on relevant industry topics. You can view the detailed list of presentations and speakers on the technical program page.

How can I pick up my conference badge?

You can pick up your conference badge on-site at the convention center during registration hours, Saturday through Wednesday. All attendees must present a government-issued photo ID to pick up their badge. Registration hours are:

Can I take photos or videos at ATCE?

All SPE sessions are protected by US copyright laws. Photography and audio/video recording of any kind are strictly prohibited in the technical sessions and throughout the exhibition area. View the ATCE Photo and Video Policy for more information.

Is there a business center available at ATCE?

The Business Center is located in the Omni Hotel, Level 2, for your copying, printing, and shipping needs. The Business Center hours are 0700–1800 Monday through Friday, and 0900–1600 Saturday and Sunday. For questions, contact the Business Center directly at +1.214.625.4256


Is there wifi available at ATCE?

SPE is offering free wireless Internet access throughout the lobby areas of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. The SSID for wireless access is ATCE2018, and the password is atce2018.

How do I contact ATCE show management on site?

To reach official ATCE staff members, you can stop by the SPE Headquarters at ATCE, located in Room D173 on Level 1 of the convention center.
