Message from the Program Chairman

Junichi SugiuraI am excited to announce the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) will take place 5–7 October 2020 in Denver, Colorado, USA. As Program Committee Chairman, I invite you to the mile-high city, and to participate in our premier industry event by submitting a paper proposal.

As the industry continues to recover, we have found innovative ways to extract valuable insights from the data collected and have developed new products and processes to economically extract hydrocarbons. Share your innovations, technical advancements, best practices, and case studies with your industry peers at ATCE.

As SPE’s flagship event, ATCE brings together thousands of E&P professionals from around the world. The 2020 conference will feature over 400 technical papers, ePosters, and panel sessions covering all technical disciplines. If accepted, you will present your paper at the conference and your paper will be included in OnePetro, the multi-society library of technical content.

The committee encourages collaboration between senior professionals and young professionals, and among research institutes, service companies, and operators in writing and presenting their papers.

Take part as a thought leader in one of the largest E&P events. Submit your paper proposal by Wednesday, 29 January 2020 for next year’s ATCE. I look forward to seeing you in Denver.

Junichi Sugiura
2020 ATCE Program Committee Chairman
