In this session, we will explore recent innovative developments in core analysis ranging from big data acquisition to automation, visualization, numerical modeling, development of unconventional techniques, data analytics and integration, all paramount steps that will enable the current industry to meet the digital transformation and energy transition future challenges. The digital transformation will be an integrated part of the current energy strategy for conventional and unconventional rocks, CCUS , Geothermal, Mining and more. Nevertheless, one of the biggest challenges ahead is core analysis data science, data management and recovery from unconventional reservoirs. This has created a strong necessity for the industry to review and revise its core analysis approach to meet future needs.
