SS11 How Can We Define a Holistic Set of Common Industry Well Parameters for Reservoir Sections that Drive Lifecycle Value?

Tuesday, 4 October
372 B/E
Special Session
Reservoir well sections are critical to the value proposition of wells. The drilled form of wells have a significant impact on their cost and production, and thus is a direct driver of life cycle value. This session, created by the SPE Wellbore Positioning Technical Section (WPTS) and supported by the SPE Drilling System Automation Technical Section (DSATS), will put invited industry experts in the hot seat to debate this issue and draw conclusions. The desired solution goes beyond the individual domains of the technical sections -- well bore positioning, automation, and uncertainty -- hence we are stepping back to the host role, allowing the diverse panel to explore the full breadth of the issue and to draft a holistic solution for the industry.
