As the world transitions to sustainable energy solutions, the oil and gas industry becomes uniquely positioned to lead such transition given their track record of successful surface and subsurface developments and integrated project delivery. In this session, we focus on recent subsurface advancements that will help drive the acceleration of energy transition through low carbon solutions including carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), hydrogen supply, and geothermal energy. Paper presentations will be delivered by reputable universities and renowned industry leaders emphasizing the important role of reservoir engineering in world’s net-zero aspirations
