5 Zonal Isolation and Fluids

Monday, 3 October
362 A-C
Technical Session
Zonal isolation remains one of the key objectives during well construction. Sometimes there are drilling hazards such as lost circulation or unexpected inflow that could affect the casing design, wellbore fluids, as well as the cement placement success. Introduced in this session is an improvement in casing string recovery, potential solutions to overcome lost circulation, advances in drilling fluids modeling and a method to compliment primary cementing.
