Global Energy and the Role of Molecules
Wednesday, 21 October
Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
Secure energy, the primary objective of global leaders, requires electricity and molecules. Electricity represents only 20% of end use energy and is growing slowly. Many of the materials and services required by global economies such as steel, cement, plastic, ammonia, and transoceanic travel require both the use of molecules and the dense energy produced by burning molecules. Oil and natural gas remain the most important molecules for the future of global energy.
