 Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Alebri is the Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Onshore, where he leads one of ADNOC’s largest and most strategically critical businesses, responsible for sustaining secure and reliable crude supply across Abu Dhabi’s onshore asset base.

Leading large‑scale producing assets, extensive drilling activity, and complex growth programs, he is accountable for the strategic and operational delivery of ADNOC Onshore’s portfolio as the company advances toward ADNOC’s target of 5 million barrels per day production capacity by 2027.

He is advancing ADNOC Onshore’s unconventionals portfolio, steering multi‑billion‑dollar capital investments, and accelerating the deployment of advanced technologies and AI‑enabled solutions, from drilling optimization and field performance to production reliability.

In December 2025, Dr. Alebri was appointed Chairman of the Board of Abu Dhabi Offshore Power Infrastructure Limited a TAQA–ADNOC joint venture overseeing a majority stake in Project Lightning, one of ADNOC’s flagship offshore decarbonization initiatives. In this role, he leads the Board’s governance and strategic agenda and supports the delivery of a critical enabler of ADNOC’s sustainability ambitions and offshore operational efficiency.
