Alexander “Sander” Ray is Director of Production at Chord Energy, the leading upstream operator in the Williston Basin. He has held various leadership roles at Chord as well as Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Siemens Energy, and Mustang Engineering in the disciplines of engineering, operations, major capital projects, strategic planning, and M&A. He has lived in Aberdeen, Scotland and Munich, Germany and worked in the Gulf of Mexico, the UK North Sea, Brazil, and multiple US onshore unconventional plays.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Rice University.
