Bo Hu is Director of Data Science and AI at ConocoPhillips, leading teams that build and deploy advanced AI and machine learning solutions across exploration, geoscience, reservoir engineering, wells and production operations, supply chain, finance, and commercial. With 20 years of energy industry experience, she applies data science and AI to complex technical and business challenges.

Hu has held research, product development, and data science leadership roles at companies including Schlumberger (SLB), Sanchez Oil & Gas, and ConocoPhillips. Her work spans AI/ML solution delivery, predictive maintenance, telemetry systems, and enterprise-scale analytics, with an emphasis on translating technical innovation into business value.

Hu is an active industry leader and advisor to academic and professional organizations, including the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Houston, and the SPE Data Science and Engineering Analytics Technical Section. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta.
