Brad Handler
Brad Handler is program director of the Energy Finance Lab at the Payne Institute, where he has worked since 2020. His research focuses on increasing private institutional investment in reducing carbon emissions, particularly from fossil fuel assets and through carbon markets, and in developing critical minerals. Before joining the Payne Institute, Handler spent 20 years as an equity research analyst covering the oilfield services and drilling sector at investment banks including Credit Suisse and Jefferies. He holds a BA in economics from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
