Euan Murdoch
Euan Murdoch is a Research Consultant for Aramco Europe and heads up the completions and intervention technology at their Aberdeen Technology Office in Scotland. Murdoch has held a variety of operational, technical and management positions within completions, drilling and formation evaluation. Murdoch has led the development of a number of industry defining technologies and projects and is recognized as an SME in wireless communication and remotely activated downhole tools. He is a member of the API19E committee for downhole hole electronics qualification and has served as an SPE distinguished lecturer and currently sits on a number of SPE Technical committees. Murdoch holds patents for downhole tool and system design and has authored a large number of papers in the drilling and completions domains and specifically relating to the development of new technologies in these areas. He holds a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Herriot Watt University in Edinburgh.
