Fernanda Kato is a Business Development Manager at Woods Hole Group, part of the CLS Group, where she leads strategic growth in the metocean services sector, with a focus on renewable energy, oil and gas, LNG, and marine operations. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Murdoch University and a Master’s degree in Ocean Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology from UFRJ and the University of Aveiro, Portugal.

With a strong metocean and technical background, Kato integrates scientific expertise into commercial strategies, developing tailored, data-driven solutions that address client needs and project objectives. Her work supports Woods Hole Group’s mission to deliver innovative, science-based services for offshore and coastal development while contributing to the global energy transition.
