Kim Padeletti leads AWS's global AI Business Development, where she has built AWS into a foundational technology partner for the world's largest natural resource operators, energy utilities, and infrastructure customers navigating the convergence of AI and energy systems.

Kim brings roughly two decades of hands-on industry experience rooted in operations and capital project execution. At BHP and Oxy, she held leadership roles in an international portfolio of >$50B projects and operations across four countries, giving her a global perspective on how projects are planned and delivered under very different regulatory frameworks.

Her career arc from the field to enterprise-scale digital transformation gives her fluency across operations, risk management, capital markets, and energy infrastructure. Today she leverages that foundation to help energy companies operationalize AI and emerging technologies at scale.

Kim holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mississippi. She was named to the 50/50 Women on Boards "50 Women to Watch for Boards" on Board-level AI advisory, and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers since 2006. She is based in Houston, Texas.
