Kris Ravi is President of Kris-Ravi Consultancy (KRC) and a Professor in the Department of Geo Engineering, Technical University of Leoben, Austria.

He has thirty years’ experience in the energy industry and has worked in technical and leadership roles across the globe. His expertise is in the areas of drilling & completion, well integrity, well repurposing, plug & abandonment, gas storage, digitalization, carbon sequestration, geothermal, and AI. At the Technical University of Leoben, he is leading the construction of Well Integrity & Digital lab.
He has authored about one hundred scientific papers and has more than one hundred issued U.S. patents. In 2004-2005 he served as SPE distinguished lecturer and served in SPE Research and Development Committee from 2009 to 2012. He is a member of API and ISO standardization committees.

He has PhD in chemical engineering and MBA. He has conducted short courses on well integrity, cementing, CCS and geothermal, presented seminars around the globe and helped in business development. He is passionate about working with people, coaching, innovating, solving problems and developing business.
