Lorenzo Wilborn is an Advising Production Engineer at Devon Energy, where he leads development of an in-house agentic AI platform that delivers automated diagnostics and recommendations for Devon’s producing wells. He is also the product owner of Devon’s internal platform for production engineering analytics and work management. He is an accepted author for ADIPEC 2026, presenting an approach that uses physics-informed AI to drive operational decision-making, and recently served as a discussion leader at the 2026 SPE AI forum.

With over 17 years of oil and gas experience at Devon and previous work at SLB, Wilborn draws on perspectives from engineering, field operations, and technology domains to drive digital solutions across Devon’s operations. He holds dual engineering degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma.
