Matt has more than 12 years of experience with Oxy, formerly Anadarko, beginning his career focused on unconventional assets in the Eagle Ford and Delaware Basin. Since Oxy's acquisition of Anadarko in 2019, he has served as an Engineering Supervisor for the Delaware Basin Completions team, an Engineering Advisor for the Worldwide Drilling & Completions team, and a Senior Engineering Advisor for the Central Subsurface Engineering team.

Today, as Chief Completions Engineer and Worldwide Completions Team Manager, Matt shapes the strategic direction of the completions discipline company-wide and leads a team of senior engineers supporting Oxy's domestic and international business units. He is committed to growing the next generation of completions engineers through mentorship and targeted training. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and has authored multiple SPE publications on production analysis and completions optimization.
