Mitch Pryor
Mitch Pryor is a Research Professor and founder of the Nuclear & Applied Robotics Group which focuses on long-term autonomy, situational awareness, manipulation, and active perception in hazardous, uncertain environments. He earned his PhD from UT Austin in 2002, Pryor has been the PI or co-PI for projects sponsored by NSF, DARPA, ONR, DOE, DoD/AFC, Air Force, Space Force, and multiple industrial partners with 150+ publications. He co-founded RAPID an industry affiliate program focusing on rig automation and has worked with multiple O&G companies on automation projects for applications ranging from production to refining to transport.
