Nikunj Patel is an accomplished engineering and technology leader with more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry. As VP of Engineering and Technology at Oceaneering International Inc. in Houston, he oversees the Engineering and Project Management COE and leads New Product Development and Emerging Technology initiatives.

During his career at Oceaneering, Patel has held several leadership positions, including Engineering Manager and General Manager across multiple business units. His background combines strong technical expertise with broad operational and business leadership experience.

Beyond his corporate role, Patel supports academic and professional communities through advisory board service with respected institutions, helping advance industry knowledge, collaboration, and best practices.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics from Sardar Patel University in Gujarat and a master’s degree in Mechatronics from Wichita State University in Kansas, reflecting his continued commitment to learning, innovation, and engineering excellence.
