Pearl has been at SLB for over 35 years, having started her career developing drilling technologies as a mechanical engineer in Houston, Texas.  She transitioned to other leadership positions including business operations, technology management and human resources, with almost half of her time working internationally in Paris, Beijing and Kuala Lumpur.

As Director Technical Domains & University Relations, Pearl drives the strategic development of the SLB technical population and is what she sees as a lucky fusion of all her past experiences, with a strong commitment to leadership development, promoting diversity and inclusion, and supporting the professional growth of others. Holding degrees from Texas A&M and Georgia Tech, Pearl was appointed Board Chair for the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GHWCC) in 2023 and joined the Global Energy Transition (GET) Board in 2025.
