Raed Alouhali is director of research and development at Aramco Americas, where he oversees Aramco’s US global research centers in Houston, Boston, and Detroit and advances technologies across the upstream and downstream value chain.

Before assuming his current role, Alouhali held several leadership positions at Saudi Aramco in the Upstream Advanced Research Center, Petroleum Engineering and Development, Upstream Business Support, the Upstream Professional Development Center, and Saudi Aramco Upstream Technology Company.

Alouhali holds an MS in petroleum engineering from the University of Southern California and a PhD in petroleum engineering from Texas Tech University.
