Raki Sahai is the Vice President of Reservoir Engineering & Corporate Reserves at Ascent Resources, one of the largest privately held E&P operators in the US. With over 20 years of global experience, his expertise spans conventional reservoir development across four continents and 16 years focused on unconventional shale plays. Prior to joining Ascent in 2017, he held key engineering roles at Chesapeake Energy, Pinnacle Technologies, Santos, and Halliburton, specializing in reservoir engineering and completions. He holds a B.E., M.S., and Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering and has been an SPE member since 2004.
