Shannon Eichmann
Shannon Eichmann is the Reservoir Engineering Technology Leader at Aramco Americas Houston Research Center, where she leads research and development efforts for reservoir characterization, recovery optimization, and subsurface solutions for unconventional assets.
Eichmann has more than 10 years of experience across nanoscale materials analysis, reservoir engineering, rock-fluid interactions, nanomaterial transport, and unconventional reservoir dynamics. Her team’s work connects laboratory measurements, reservoir modeling, and field-scale applications to support improved reservoir understanding and performance.
She has co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed journal papers related to nanomaterial transport, rock-fluid interactions, and unconventional reservoir behavior, holds 20 granted patents, and has been recognized with a Gulf Energy Excellence Award, a SPE Regional Service Award, and several company awards for her technical contributions and professional service to the energy industry.
Eichmann holds a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
