Steven Bowman is general manager, Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI), for Chevron Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of Chevron’s AI efforts across the enterprise. He assumed the role in October 2020 and is based in Houston, TX.

Previously, Bowman led Chevron’s Digital Platform, where he oversaw digital tools supporting drilling, completions, workover and abandonment activities. He is a licensed professional engineer (PE) who began his career as a production engineer with Texaco in New Orleans, LA, and has held roles of increasing responsibility across deepwater and shelf and land asset classes in North America.

Bowman earned an MBA from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He is a native of Cut Off, LA.
