Flow Assurance, Measurement, and Profiling
Tuesday, 17 October
Room 214 B
Technical Session
Focuses on technology advancements and innovative solutions in flow assurance, measurement, and profiling. The topics include foam treatment for controlling GOR in horizontal producing wells; new tools and methods for predicting hydrate formation-plugging, modeling asphaltene deposition, reducing wax deposition and viscosity of waxy oil, effective downhole corrosion control management; use of cyclonic autonomous inflow control devices (AICDs) with tracer monitoring for production optimization; an in-house software tool for production monitoring; downhole low-cost all-digital pressure sensing system and; lessons learned from multiphase flowmeter measurements.
