Advancements in Carbon Dioxide Utilization and Storages

Tuesday, 24 September
Room 220 - 222
Technical Session

Carbon dioxide utilization and storage is a multi-faceted process with the primary goal of safe, long-term CO2 storage.  This session will draw upon technical contributions to further our understanding of carbon transport and storage and advance the technology.  Lessons from offshore natural process observations and their impact on geologic storage, case studies, and numerical methods to improve analyses will be highlighted during these presentations. Timely discussions of infrastructure and well re-use will be leveraged to understand integrity issues and better identify candidate sites.
