Next-Generation Strategies for Enhanced Oil Recovery

Monday, 20 October
Room 342CF
Technical Session
This session discusses the latest advances in different EOR methods for improving microscopic and macroscopic efficiencies from Sandstone and Carbonate formations. The discussed EOR methods include low salinity, surfactant, polymer, Alkaline, foam and combinations from light- and heavy-oil reservoirs. Example applications are discussed from laboratory and numerical works as well as field pilots.
