Speakers

Shelley graduated from the University of Melbourne with degrees in Civil Engineering and Arts in 2000. In 2001, she began her career with Esso Australia, a subsidiary of ExxonMobil Corporation.  Shelley worked in Australia from 2001-10 and held roles in Environmental and Regulatory; Inspection Engineering; Planning and Reservoir Engineering Departments.

Shelley worked for Exxon Neftegas Limited on Sakhalin Island, Russian Federation from 2010 until 2014 as an Operations Superintendent. In 2014, she became the Operations Technical Manager with ExxonMobil Canada East in Newfoundland until 2017. After her assignment in Canada, Shelley moved to Houston, Texas, USA as the Planning Manager for ExxonMobil Production Company from 2017 until 2019.  During this time in the USA she met her husband Matt.

In March 2019, Shelley returned to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russian Federation and become the General Manager – Sakhalin and President of Exxon Neftegas Limited.  In February 2023, Shelley returned to the USA as Subsurface and Subsea Vice President in Technology and Engineering and part of ExxonMobil Upstream Integrated Solutions Company.

She enjoys travelling, learning about new cultures, and participating in outdoor sports including golf, hiking and downhill skiing with her husband Matt.
